What Kind of Program Is It?

Full Sail University's Bachelor of Science in Game Art program is offered both online and on campus. After enrolling in the program, you will have the opportunity to develop skills in 2D and 3D animation, game animation, and model creation. The coursework will also provide you with the chance to learn about designing and creating characters, character rigging, character animation, compositing, shading and effects, game production, and techniques for digitizing motion. Throughout the coursework you will also develop your own demo reel with guidance from your instructors.

What Are the Prerequisites?

You should have artistic ability and experience in sketching, sculpting, and painting before applying to the Bachelor of Science in Game Art program at Full Sail University. You should have earned a high school diploma, be a permanent resident or U.S. citizen, and be at least 18 years old.

What Are the Course Requirements?

The Bachelor of Science in Game Art campus program requires 141 credits to complete, 32 of which are general education requirements.
