Online teaching degrees may even give students hands-on experience with technology in the field as courses utilize simulations, computer applications, games, and more to teach certain material. </p> <p>Typically, online education degrees are non-licensure track programs or programs that do not prepare teachers for initial teaching licensure or certification. However, there are some, but not many, that prepare students for teaching licensure. These online programs may include some hands-on, in-classroom teaching experiences through a hybrid learning format. Master's degrees in education online and online doctoral programs in the field are more common because most students in these programs have already earned their initial teaching certification.
