What Kind of Program Is It?

As a learner in the Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership program at University of Phoenix, you will be exposed to theories, philosophies and practices in management and leadership. The program will provide you with the opportunity to develop decision making, communication and critical-thinking skills. What Are the Prerequisites?

Those seeking to enter the Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership program should have a graduate degree from a regionally or approved nationally accredited institution with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on the graduate degree posted transcript, current or a record of past employment in a leadership position, and minimum 3 years of professional experience and current access to a work environment.

What Are the Course Requirements?

A total of 62 credits must be completed in order to earn the Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership degree from University of Phoenix. The program curriculum is presented through courses, seminars, projects and a collaborative case study. Learners must also complete a dissertation. Those who do not complete their dissertation after all other work has been completed must attend a non-credit annual renewal residency.
