Working in student-operated salons, you will gain practical experience in hair design, shaping, cutting, shampooing, chemical treatments, and coloring. The curriculum also covers nail art, facials, scalp treatments, massage techniques, pedicures, cosmetology laws and regulations, and salon management. The program is designed to prepare you to take a state licensing exam.
