About Brenau University
With five campuses in Georgia and Florida as well as online programs, Brenau University is a small school with a big mission: to help you receive an enriching education designed to support your pursuit of career goals and a fulfilling personal life. The name Brenau reflects the school's motto: 'As Gold Refined by Fire' (Bren from the German world 'brennen' meaning 'to burn' and AU, the atomic symbol for gold).
As a Brenau University student, you can choose from a variety of diverse programs designed to prepare you for a wide variety of careers in many industries. For instance there are bachelor's and master's degrees in business and communication; bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in education; and undergraduate and graduate studies in areas of exercise science, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, and psychology. In addition, Brenau offers four-year degrees in fashion design, interior design, fashion merchandising, studio arts, theater, dance, and liberal studies and an MFA in interior design. These programs are offered in a variety of convenient formats too, including fully online, fully on-campus and hybrid formats.

- Transfer Credit: Brenau University accepts transfer for all liberal education classes wherein students achieved at least a 'C' (unless the course is also a major course) up to a total of 65 credits.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Applicants to most Brenau University programs must have graduated from high school or earned a GED. The University also requires applicants to submit SAT or ACT scores.
