About Miller-Motte College

Business, legal and protective services, healthcare, technology, beauty and wellness are all among the main areas of study you can expect to find at Miller-Motte College. From just one campus in 1916 in Wilmington, North Carolina, to four NC locations and online today, Miller-Motte College offers the training you need to start or advance your career through its degree and non-degree programs. Training is employer-centric; the college uses a combination of classroom learning and hands-on experiences to teach you the skills employers seek in their employees.

Do you want to be ready to pursue a career as a dental assistant in as little as 18 months? You'll learn the basics through classroom studies and externships. Do you see yourself as an IT support specialist? Miller-Motte's associate's degree program offers online and on-campus training to teach you about computer applications, database concepts, and programming, and will prepare you for various certification exams. Or, maybe a career as a massage therapist is more up your alley. Miller-Motte's diploma program teaches you various techniques, and you can apply what you've learned in clinical courses at the school's on-site spa. Some of Miller-Motte College's other programs, such as those in criminal justice, business, and medical coding/billing, are hybrids, offering online and in-class studies.

At Miller-Motte, you can expect to learn from industry-experienced instructors who can teach you skills you will need in the workplace. You'll also get an education from an accredited institution when you choose Miller-Motte College; the school is accredited by Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). In addition, some of its programs enjoy specific accreditations, such as those from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) for medical assisting, the Commission on Dental Accreditation for dental assisting, and Initial Accreditation status for the veterinary technology program from the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
