It has four residential campuses: Knoxville and Nashville, TN; Atlanta, GA; and Asheville, NC. Students seeking a more flexible learning experience could also choose to enroll in the online programs offered by South College. The online programs allow you to fit your studies in your current schedule, around your personal and professional commitments.

South College offers online programs in more than 30 fields of study. Students can earn certificates or degrees in fields ranging from education, criminal justice, and health sciences to business administration, technology, and engineering technology. All of the programs are designed to help you gain the skills needed to start a new career or advance your current position. Online programs are taught by the same professional instruction as the on-campus programs and hold students to the same high academic standards.

As an online student at South College, you'll access your course materials and communicate with instructors and classmates using 'Canvas', the school's online learning management system. You may use interactive learning materials, such as narrated faculty presentations, online discussion boards, audio and video lectures, collaborative learning sessions, readings and assignments, and assessments. South College also accepts a variety of financial aid options, including scholarships, grants and awards, loans, and military support.

Student Testimonials

''I really enjoy that most classes are not straight reading from a book, listening to PowerPoint presentations, taking a test and then moving to the next chapter. The instructors take the time to have class discussions and incorporate real world examples. To me, this makes the material more interesting and puts what I am learning into a better perspective.''

- Samantha Williams, Master of Business Administration

''I considered dozens of schools with similar online programs, but South College was just so proactive and more helpful than the others. It was stress-free for me to enroll and get started. Also, being a military-friendly institution made it easier for me to use my Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits with the Yellow Ribbon Program.''

- Meghan Hosea, Master of Business Administration

''One of the major reasons I chose South College was for the smaller class sizes. It allows more one-on-one time between students and professors, which enhances the learning experience for me.''

- Elizabeth Frerichs, Bachelor of Science in Health Science
