About DeVry University

Founded in Chicago in 1931, DeVry University has grown from a technical training school to an accredited* institution offering undergraduate and graduate certificate programs, associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees in areas of business, technology, accounting, and healthcare, as well as in multimedia and website design and development, communications, and justice administration. An online format was introduced in 1998. You can choose to study 100% online or through a combination of online and onsite classes at one of the school's more than 40 locations.

Whether you simply want to learn programming or networking essentials in an undergraduate certificate program, earn an associate degree in network systems or information technology, or pursue a Bachelor's in areas of business, engineering technology, healthcare administration, information technology, or multimedia design, DeVry has the program for you. Several degree programs offer areas of specialization. For example, the Bachelor's in Business program has specializations in finance, health management services management, business intelligence and analytics management, global supply chain management, human resource management and more; the Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems allows you to focus on such areas as software programming, database management, cyber security programming, web development and administration or web game programming; and the Bachelor's in Information Technology and Networking offers specializations in cloud based networking and visualization, cyber security, and mobile and networked devices.

In addition to accreditation from The Higher Learning Commission, DeVry offers several programs that have achieved programmatic accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc. (ABET), or the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).
