EMT Training NJ
This program includes lectures and skills training, as well as practical experience through clinical sessions at an emergency department of a hospital. You'll also gain field experience while accompanying a paramedic unit on calls. Courses include trauma assessment, lifting, bleeding control, splinting and airway support. Completion of the program qualifies you to take the EMT certification exam for either the State of New Jersey or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).

2. Camden County College
This is a six-credit course that includes lectures, labs, and clinical practice sessions. It will prepare you to look for an entry-level position at the basic EMT level. You may seek EMT-B certification through the New Jersey Department of Health after you complete the course.

3. Union County College
This course follows the National Highway and Transportation Safety Administration's Emergency Medical Technician-Basic National Standard Curriculum. Over the course of a semester, you will learn the skills needed to gain a position with an ambulance service. After completing the course, you will be qualified to take the New Jersey state certification exam.

In this program, you attend lectures and labs, as well as completing a hands-on field experience. Courses cover computers, physiology, anatomy, composition, and math, all taken in the first semester.
