Math Major Admission Requirements
As stated above, to apply to be a mathematics major, students must file a petition at the Student Services Office in Mathematical Sciences. In addition to this petition, students must meet several other requirements:
- Complete pre-major mathematics courses with a C or higher
- Complete the Calculus Sequence with a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Complete a regular session term in residence at UCLA
- Be currently enrolled
