Courses will cover a variety of topics, ranging from basics like foundations for graduate studies to more exact topics, such as curriculum planning and design. You also have the opportunity to choose from a number of electives so you can better focus on areas where you have particular interests or talents. You will be required to pass all your courses with at least a B average, successfully complete a doctoral comprehensive exam, and write an acceptable applied research dissertation in order to graduate from the program. </p> <h3 id="section---WhatAreThePrerequisites">What Are the Prerequisites?</h3> <p>If you are interested in applying for this program, you should have a love of helping others succeed and a patient, organized mind. You should want to learn new techniques and research findings in order to grow your already well-developed background in education.
