The top industries these professionals worked in were government, manufacturing, and healthcare, as well as professional, scientific, and technical services. These professionals typically work full-time, with many working more than 40 hours per week, including on weekends and evenings. </p><h3 id="section---WhatIsTheJobOutlook">What Is the Job Outlook?</h3><p>The BLS projects an employment decline of -6% for all chief executives between 2020 and 2030.
