As a student currently on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces, you or your spouse — or both — are eligible to receive many benefits if you enroll in a Strayer degree program.
Military spouses

The United States Army provides up to $4,500 per year in tuition assistance for eligible service members.
The US Navy
Strayer partners with the Navy College Distance Learning Program (NCDLP). Active-duty service members or spouses can receive a scholarship that can cover up to 100% of undergraduate tuition to supplement your NCDLP tuition assistance.
The US Air Force
Strayer University works with the AU-ABC program helping those military personnel who have completed an associate of applied science (AAS) degree with the Community College of the Air Force to earn a related Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.
Service members can also complete pre-approved online CCAF courses through the General Education Mobile (GEM) program.

The Strayer University Military Scholarship
Understanding and appreciating all the challenges military families face, Strayer's leadership wants to make your university education as affordable as possible.
When combined with your military tuition assistance, the Strayer University Military Scholarship can cover up to 100% of your undergraduate tuition and a majority of your graduate tuition.
This scholarship is available to active-duty members of the armed forces (including the National Guard, reserves, and Coast Guard) and/or their spouses. Please note that spouses can qualify even if the service member is not a Strayer University student.
Service members will need to verify their TA eligibility according to their branch of service.
The Strayer University Military Scholarship is a 'gap' scholarship and may not be refunded to the students. This means that it covers the remaining tuition and fees after accounting for benefits from U.S. military tuition assistance and/or corporate tuition programs.

Turning Your Life, Work, and Military Experience into College Credit
Strayer administrators will evaluate your prior college or university transcripts, your military training, certifications, and tests like CLEP or DANTES to determine the transfer credit you can apply towards your Strayer degree.
Be sure to send Strayer copies of transcripts from previous colleges or universities you attended. Also, don't forget to request a copy of your military Joint Services Transcript (JST) to be sent to Strayer University for evaluation.
In addition to transferring in college credits from previous learning institutions and from your credit-bearing military training courses, you might be surprised to learn how much your other life experiences can contribute toward your degree at Strayer University.
Upon review by university officials, the following types of learning might result in transferable credits:
1. Have you received corporate training, either through instructor-led classes or e-learning? You will need to submit a training history or transcript that includes the course title, credit hours or CEUs, and proof of successful completion.
You can usually get these from the human resource or corporate training department that performs the training.
2. Do you have IT, web design, or other types of certificates? Certifications and licenses you've earned for personal or professional advancement might also contribute to your degree. All you need to do is provide the verification information from a crediting authority (such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco) to earn credit.
3. What other types of courses have you taken that might offer alternative forms of credit? You may be able to earn your degree faster by supplementing your Strayer University courses with online courses from Sophia or StraighterLine.
4. Have you developed extensive knowledge or skills in an academic area or field that might qualify you to exempt a course to receive credit?
