The BLS reported that broadcast technicians earned a mean yearly salary of $46,770 as of May 2018, while radio operators made an annual mean wage of $44,710 as of May 2018. Sound engineering technicians earned a mean salary of $63,500 annually in May 2018, stated the BLS.
