About George Fox University

George Fox University is a nationally recognized private school located in Newberg, OR, just outside of Portland. The university was founded in 1885 and is the oldest Christian university in the state, and the school still offers programs with a Christian viewpoint and is committed to providing programs that empower students spiritually and academically. George Fox University enrolls around 4,100 students annually in its undergraduate and graduate programs.

As an undergraduate student at George Fox, you can choose from more than 50 different majors - including programs in the business, education, science, and nursing fields. Graduate students can choose from 15 additional programs, like the Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in School Counseling, Master of Education, or Doctor of Psychology. The school's Portland Seminary campus also offers graduate degrees and certificates in areas of in ministry, theological studies, divinity, and spiritual direction. George Fox offers a variety of online programs as well - including a Doctor of Business Administration, Master of Education, Doctor of Education, teaching endorsements, school administrator programs, and seminary programs.

Adult learners who have already completed some college courses may be interested in the accelerated degree-completion programs are offered at George Fox's Portland Center and Salem sites. Program options include bachelor's degrees in elementary education, health administration, management and organizational leadership, project management, RN to BSN, and social and behavioral studies.
