Enrollment Process and Information
Prospective students can complete an enrollment form online or call the campus to begin the enrollment process. After the information is processed, an admissions representative will call with the next steps and to schedule a tour. A GED or high school diploma is required for enrollment.
Financial Aid Information
Western Career College recommends that all applicants speak to a financial aid counselor prior to enrolling so that sources of financial assistance can be identified. Grants and government loans are just a couple of financial aid options, with work-study also an option. Scholarships are available for veterans and their surviving family members and for those who have been unemployed for the last 12 months. The latter source of financial assistance is called the Employment Gap Scholarship and is for students seeking full-time enrollment. Proof of unemployment is required, as well as maintenance of a 3.0 GPA. Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required.
Career Services
As part of an effort to help Western Career College students find employment, the college offers career websites on their online library page. There are links to popular job websites and local newspapers. Employers are encouraged to post openings to all of the campus locations as a resource for students.
