About Golden Gate University

Golden Gate University is a non-profit, private university that offers a variety of programs for adult learners who need a flexible education option to enter or advance their career. The school was established in 1901 and currently offers more than 90 programs in areas of business, management, law, taxation, and accounting. The programs are available both online and at three campuses in Washington and California with flexible evening and/or weekend classes.

As a student at Golden Gate University, you can choose from programs such as an undergraduate certificate in information technology, Associate of Arts in General Studies, or Bachelor of Arts in Management with a Public Administration Concentration. Graduate students can enroll in programs like a Certificate in Conflict Resolution, Master of Accountancy, Master of Business Administration with a Project Management Concentration, Juris Doctor, or Doctor of Business Administration.

The online programs include the same rigorous instruction as their on-campus counterparts, and they are taught by the same experienced instructors. Many of GGU's instructors have real world experience in their field of study and work in some of the most successful organizations in the Bay Area. All GGU students are assigned a student services advisor to guide them through their program, and student support options include academic tutors and career services. Grand Canyon University accepts credit from previous military and professional training as well as for college-level courses and examinations.
