About Carrington College
Carrington College is a network of 18 locations that offer programs designed to prepare students for a variety of health care and trades careers. The school is based in California but also has locations in Arizona, Idaho, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. Carrington College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
You can choose between programs in over 20 different areas that result in a certificate or an associate degree. The programs offered by Carrington range from Pharmacy Technology and Tractical Nursing to Dental Hygiene and Veterinary Assisting. The school also offers a Health Studies associate degree completion program. Many of these programs include hands-on training opportunities or externships that allow you to gain valuable experience before entering the workforce.
If you're looking for a flexible online program, Carrington College also offers four of its programs through distance learning: Medical Assisting, Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding, and Health Studies. In these programs, you can complete coursework - as well as view lectures and participate in learning activities - from the comfort of your own home. As a Carrington student, you have access to a number of support services to help you succeed in your program - including tutorial assistance, financial advising, career services, and online library resources. Student loans, grants, and scholarships are available to those who qualify.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Applicants to Carrington College must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Some programs have additional requirements/restrictions, including the Wonderlic SLE admissions test, age restrictions, written statement, background check, interview process, and/or drug screening.
