Online Associate Degrees in Business at Strayer University

To earn an Associate of Arts degree, you'll need to complete 20 courses (each 11 weeks long). If you enroll full time, you can earn your degree in less than two years. Courses require that you spend approximately 10 to 14 hours engaged in coursework, both in and out of class.

To earn a bachelor's degree on the quarter system requires a student to take forty 11-week courses, each worth 4.5 credit hours, for a total of 180 credit hours.

Courses generally meet at least once a week, and each course requires approximately 13.5 hours of work per week, including class attendance.

Strayer's Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program allows students to transfer credits for up to 28 classes.

Master's degree programs, which require 36 credit hours, charge variable tuition rates by program. These range from a low of $333.33 per credit hour for master's in accounting, education, and health services to a high of $855.56 for the Jack Welch Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Tuition for a Master of Public Administration is $444.44 per credit hour, while a 10-course MBA (31.5 credits) charges $663.33 per credit.

All other master's degree programs charge $553.33 per credit hour, including the 12-course MBAs, human resource management, and management.
