What Will I Learn as a Sports Management Major?

<p>A Bachelor of Science degree with a major in sports management should prepare you for a career in the sports and entertainment industry. In your program, you will generally be expected to complete 120 hours of coursework comprised of general education classes, business classes and sports management classes. Specific courses might include business administration, economics, accounting, sports program organization, budgeting, finance, statistics, management, marketing, communications and promotion. </p> <p>Some bachelor's degree programs in sports management will also require you to complete an internship within a sport or entertainment organization.
