<p>While earning an associate's degree in MRI technology, you will focus on science classes involving anatomy and physiology, human biology, medical terminology and patient care. In addition to coursework, you will also have to complete an internship in a medical facility. During your degree program, you will learn how to work patients and produce medical images.

This certification is nationally recognized, and obtaining this designation will show that you are not only experienced, but that you are willing to improve your career. The ARRT also provides listings of accredited schools. Many of the available schools that offer post-associate's degree programs in MRI technology will only accept students that are ARRT certified.</p>
