The program places heavy emphasis on mathematics, science and engineering courses. You will also be instructed in the current technologies that are used in the engineering and medical fields.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) projected a 7% employment growth rate for biomedical engineers from 2016 to 2026 (<i>www.bls.gov</i>). The BLS noted that this growth could be attributed to the need for sophisticated medical equipment and the aging population. In May 2018 the median annual salary for biomedical engineers was $88,550 according to the BLS.</p>
