BSN to MSN Programs in New Jersey (NJ)

<p>The College of Saint Elizabeth has an MSN program for current nurses which consists of 36 credit hours of instruction, including a capstone practicum experience. The MSN can be specialized in either Nursing Education, for students who wish to pursue training and academic roles, or Nursing Leadership, for students who may pursue leadership and administrative positions. </p> <h2 id="section---FairleighDickinsonUniversity">Fairleigh Dickinson University</h2> <p>Fairleigh Dickenson University's MSN program is available nurses with at least one year of clinical work experience; the program can be completed online or at either of FDU's campuses. The online MSN program has a specialization in Advanced Nursing Educator Role, for students interested in teaching nurse programs; the Florham campus allows students to specialize in either Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner or Family Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; and the Metropolitan Campus location allows students to specialize in one of the following areas: Nurse Educator, Nursing Administration, Nursing Information Systems, Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner - Administrative or Education focus, Adult Gerontology Forensic Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Family Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. </p> <h2 id="section---FelicianUniversity">Felician University</h2> <p>The MSN program available at Felician University can be completed online or on-site and specialized to fit the interests of students. The online MSN program takes around two years and has a concentration in Nursing Administration, while the on-campus program takes around three years and can be specialized in either Family Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care or Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. </p> <h2 id="section---KeanUniversity">Kean University</h2> <p>Students can take advantage of studying at Kean University's main campus or their Tom's River campus with this MSN program. It can be specialized in either Nurse Leadership, for students who may pursue administrative nursing positions, or Community Health Nursing, for those who are interested in clinical practice. The program is delivered through online instruction with some hybrid components. Students can specialize their MSN curriculum in either Nursing Education, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Nursing Administration. </p> <h2 id="section---RutgersUniversity">Rutgers University</h2> <p>Rutgers University hosts MSN programs at the following campuses; Newark, New Brunswick, and Blackwood.
