What Associate Degrees are Available Online for Material Management?
An Associate of Applied Science in Hazardous Materials Managements prepares you for a career in hazardous materials containment and disposal. The program teaches you about OSHA general industry regulations and standards in the construction industry. You will learn about industrial toxicology and hygiene, emergency response to chemical spills methods and the monitoring of hazardous materials.
An Associate of Applied Science in Materials Management focuses on production, materials requirements and inventory control. Coursework covers the areas of management, business and organizational psychology.
In an Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Safety and Health degree program, you can learn how to advance in the safety and health field by earning Associate Safety Professional and Certified Safety Professional certifications. You must supply an official transcript from home school or high school. Transcripts must be sent by the granting institution directly to the school of your choice. Most schools require a student to be at least 18 years old to enter a program but may make exceptions for younger students who meet certain criteria in education. Some schools will require ACT or SAT scores at a level set by the school for admission.
