Persons interested in earning a degree in forensic science may choose to complete an associate's or a bachelor's degree program in Ohio. The available associate's degree program is offered by a two-year, public school and takes about two years of study to complete. Bachelor's degree programs related to the field are offered by public and private, four-year schools. A letter of recommendation, interview, and/or personal statement or essay may be required as part of the admission process. A capstone project is included as part of the curriculum for the associate's degree program, while students earning a bachelor's degree in forensic science will need to complete an internship prior to graduation.
