Is Strayer University a Good School?
Strayer University is a private, for-profit university providing mostly online education. Students can also take some in-person classes at more than 50 campuses in the U.S.
Because of its status as a for-profit online education provider, people often assume Strayer University is a diploma mill, but this is not the case. Its parent company is Strategic Education, which also owns Capella University.
Both of these schools provide legitimate degrees tailored to the needs of busy working adults. Degree programs are customizable with concentrations and provide flexible learning options.
Strayer also accepts transfer credits from other institutions, making it a good choice for those with previous college credits.
All things considered, Strayer University is a good school for many students, as it provides a legitimate education in a flexible format to meet the needs of nontraditional students.
What Degree Programs Does Strayer University Offer?
Strayer University offers associate, bachelor's, and master's degree programs as well as various certificate programs.
All programs are in career-focused fields, enabling students to enter high-demand fields following graduation or to advance in their current careers.

With such a variety of options, finding a program that fits your needs shouldn't be too hard.
Is Strayer University Online or In-Person?
Strayer University is headquartered in Washington, D.C., and has dozens of campuses located primarily throughout the southeastern United States.
Students can attend some classes in person at these campuses; however, the majority of Strayer University students obtain their degrees online.
Students attending in-person usually have to complete at least some courses online, as not all courses are available at all campuses.
Therefore, those attending in person usually end up completing their degree in a hybrid format.
Meanwhile, students who attend online have access to all the courses they may need to take to complete their degree. As such, it is possible for them to obtain their degree entirely online and on their own schedule.
