RRCC's sonography program is designed to prepare you for entry-level positions in general sonography, as well as in such specializations as vascular and cardiac sonography. University of Colorado - Denver
The University of Colorado's (CU) ultrasound program is part of its School of Medicine, and all of the training is conducted at CU's hospital. Admission is competitive: out of about 60-80 applications, only 4-5 people are accepted each year. The 12-month program runs from September through August and covers different types of ultrasound specialties, such as obstetrics and gynecologic (OB-GYN), superficial structure and abdominal. Upon finishing the program, the school will award you with a certificate of completion in sonography and ultrasound, and you will be eligible for certification testing by ARDMS in ultrasound physics, OB-GYN and abdomen/superficial structure imaging.
