University of Maryland Global Campus Admissions Requirements
For undergraduate students, the only admissions requirement at the University of Maryland Global Campus is that you hold a high school diploma or equivalent, like a GED. There is no minimum high school GPA, and students do not have to submit ACT/SAT scores.
But this isn't a firm requirement; there are some exceptions. You can also still be admitted if you are still in high school or if you have a certain amount of college credits.
Graduate students will need to provide their bachelor's degree transcripts if they earned their degree at an institution other than UMGC. Some programs may require additional admissions documents.
All students have an application fee of $50, with the exception of doctoral students, who have an application fee of $100.

The whole process takes about ten minutes, and you'll also need to submit your high school transcripts and pay the application fee. Transfer students will also need to submit their transcripts from any community colleges or four-year colleges they've attended.
Within two business days, you'll receive the login information for your student account. You'll be able to register for classes as well, even if your transcript evaluation is still in progress.
Students who took foreign language courses in high school and would like to bypass the foreign language requirement at UMGC can take foreign language placement tests to test out of that requirement.
