Generally speaking, most schools do allow students to drop a course when necessary. Purdue Global is no exception.

In fact, Purdue Global provides a detailed process on how to drop classes on their website. Since Purdue Global is affiliated with Purdue Global, the same process applies.

Do You Have to Pay for Dropped Classes at Purdue Global?

Purdue Global offers the Purdue Global Commitment, which is a try-before-you-buy option that allows new students to enroll in courses with no financial obligations for the first three weeks.

During that time, you have the option to drop any class or withdraw from the school altogether without having to pay for any of the time you spend in classes.

Please note that this applies only to first-time students at Purdue Global. Returning students are not eligible to take part in the Purdue Global Commitment.

If you are a returning student, or if you're a new student outside of the three-week window, your options are a little more limited.

You have the ability to drop any of your classes within the first seven days without being charged tuition or fees for that class.

However, if you drop the course after the seven-day window, you will need to pay for the entire course.

With this in mind, it's best to give it some thought before enrolling in courses and only enroll in ones you think you can commit to. If you decide a course just isn't for you, try to make that decision within the first week.
