Macroeconomics emphasizes the study of supply and demand, prosperity, scarcity and stabilization of the economy. What Can I Do With a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree?

Bachelor of Accountancy degree programs prepare you for a career as a controller, chief financial officer, auditor or CPA. While you can practice as a public accountant, you can't claim the CPA designation until you've passed the CPA exam. According to the American Institute of CPAs, the four sections of the CPA exam include financial accounting and reporting, business environments and concepts, auditing and attestation, and regulation. Bachelor of Accountancy programs prepare you to pass the exam.

Please note that CPA exam candidates are required to have 150 credit hours of college coursework, which is about two semesters more than the typical 4-year bachelor's degree. Some colleges take this fact into consideration, perhaps by offering a joint bachelor's/master's degree program. Contact your school for further information.
