How Do Online Courses Work?
Depending on the course you choose, you may need to have specific technology in place, like a sound card and a headset, but you'll definitely need Internet access. In some cases, courses run concurrently with the school's on-campus schedule, but in other cases you can enroll anytime and complete the courses within a set period of time. Many programs include texts and other course materials in their tuition.
Occasionally, online programs require some in-person work, but others allow you to complete the program entirely online. Simulations, videos and local in-office experiences sometimes make up for the lack of physical training.
What Level of Courses Are Available?
Medical Office Administration courses are offered at the undergraduate level. You can earn a certificate in Medical Office Administration, or work towards your associate's degree.
