Schools offering Business degrees can also be found in these popular choices.

What Is an Accelerated MBA?

An MBA is a terminal degree in business that qualifies you for upper-level management positions. While traditional MBA programs can be completed in 2-3 years, accelerated programs can be completed in 12-18 months. These programs may require you to begin your course of study with an intensive summer learning or orientation session.

Although not common, you can find these programs online. Distance programs allow you to complete your coursework online; however, some on-campus requirements must be met. Many programs include a specialization, such as entrepreneurship, marketing or management information systems. Programs may administer business training in a cohort format, in which incoming classmates matriculate, take courses and graduate together.
