General Information about Herzing University

Herzing University was originally founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1965 and has since grown to include ten campuses in the United States and an online division. Campus programs focus on career training degrees, such as computer science, technology management, human resources management, paralegal studies, medical billing and coding and homeland security. Programs vary by campus.

Graduate degrees are offered online. Graduate programs include business administration, business management, healthcare management and technology management. Undergraduate online degrees are offered in the areas of business, design, healthcare, public safety and technology.

Enrollment Process and Information

Students may apply online or in person at any of Herzing's campuses. Students will complete an admissions questionnaire and meet with an admissions adviser to determine any additional prerequisites and a plan of study. Admission requirements may vary by program.

Financial Aid Information

Herzing University works with its students to develop financial aid plans. Herzing offers several scholarship programs, including the Herzing High School Merit Scholarship and the Henry G. Herzing Scholarship. In addition, Herzing offers institutional grants and a tuition payment plan. Other types of aid might include federal student aid in the form of grants and loans and employer reimbursement plans.

Career Placement Services

Each campus at Herzing University has a Career Services Department. Services include resume guidance, job-seeking skills, job search assistance, networking with area employers and assistance in finding part-time employment.
