University podcasts offer students and non-students alike an opportunity to learn more about topics that interest them. Courses run the gamut from the arts to the sciences and are often free. As podcast tides can quickly shift and change, we've listed some of the most current available programming.

Below you'll find Web links to some of our favorite podcasting colleges and universities, but you can also catch any of these podcasts by going straight to iTunes. </p> <h3 id="section---UniversityOfOxford"><a href="http://podcasts.ox.ac.uk/">University of Oxford</a></h3> <p>The University of Oxford offers educational podcasts from almost every academic division, including the humanities, physical and life sciences, social sciences, mathematics, medical sciences and more. </p> <h3 id="section---UniversityOfCaliforniaDavis">University of California, Davis</h3> <p>All instructors at UC Davis have the opportunity to record courses and lectures for podcast. As a result, they offer a wide variety of topics, including: French wines, brain research, particle physics and immigration. </p> <h3 id="section---ArizonaStateUniversity"><a href="http://www.asu.edu/podcast/">Arizona State University</a></h3> <p>Arizona State University (ASU) offers a whole range of podcast channels, including the business school, the institute of applied learning technologies and the school of human communication. Individuals who want to learn more about ASU may also be interested in the podcasts from the office of the president and research and academic affairs. </p> <h3 id="section---UniversityOfCaliforniaLosAngeles"><a href="http://www.bruincast.ucla.edu/">University of California, Los Angeles</a></h3> <p>UCLA offers podcasts from a huge range of its courses, from anthropology to cell biology and everything in between. </p> <h3 id="section---MassachusettsInstituteOfTechnologyLabCAST"><a href="http://labcast.media.mit.edu/">Massachusetts Institute of Technology - LabCAST</a></h3> <p>MIT offers a video podcast, via its Media Lab, called LabCAST. The series posts video programs onto its website. Its most recent topics include the Media Lab welcoming Brazilian entrepreneurs, educators, artists and researchers to its Creative Learning Institute. There, the two teams worked simultaneously on technological design and other activities. Another program focused on Live Objects, like a digital Global Positioning System (GPS). </p> <p>The school also offers another podcast, called the <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/mit-press-podcast/id262213407?mt=2">MIT Press Podcast</a>. This program introduces listeners to authors published by the university.
